Reportedly made from the wood of the famous ship "Ironsides". It sounds legit so we'll go with that! ;)

This was the first time trying this style so I hope it was mostly successful. it was certainly a lot of fun to paint

I can't believe your prices. The gun itself only costs like, 20 bucks, I have one myself. The paint isn't too expensive either. I can't believe you ask 100+ dollars for these, but I guess if people buy them then whatever.

I guess you get pretty worked up at an art gallery too, yeah? 10 dollar canvases going for thousands of dollars. Maybe they use magical paint to warrant those prices. Or maybe their time, experience and personal attention is worth more than you give them credit for.

I put a ton of time into my own Steampunk gun, including modifications to the actual body instead of just sanding and painting. And I still would never charge 200 plus dollars. What gives me the satisfaction is someone enjoying the project I worked hard on, not any insane amount of profit.

I'd love to see your handiwork, I'm sure you undervalue yourself. I'm also certain you can paint a canvas and not sell it for as much as someone who has put thousands of hours into their craft. In that regard I totally agree with you.

You're welcome to your opinion, I'm just sorry it's so short-sighted. Try running a business with overhead, ton of supplies and rent fees and THEN try to sell them for what you do. I have no doubt you'll hit that reality brick wall pretty fast.

I have an Etsy that I run and sell goggles on. They take a humongous amount of work and money, but I still refuse to charge as much as others do for ones of less quality.

It sounds like you should be going after the evil goggle makers!
